  • Our shelter has many active pets who need good loving homes. We are currently offering a reduced price on neutering services, rabies shots, and a new pet health exam for all animals adopted through the shelter. Adopting a pet on the spur of the moment not always a good idea. In fact, some shelters don't allow adoptions at certain holiday times. Make sure you and your family is ready for a lifetime commitment to a pet before you visit your local Humane Society Shelter to find that perfect dog, cat, puppy, or kitten. If you have lost a pet, please call our phone number above. Remember to tag all your pets with your name & phone number. Please have all your pets (male & female) neutered. Medicines intended for human use can be deadly to pets. Always keep prescription and over-the-counter drugs in an area that pets cannot access. Consult your veterinarian before giving your pet any medicine not prescribed by a veterinarian specifically for that pet! Also, discard antifreeze properly... dogs love the taste, but a small amount can be deadly!

    Puppy
This puppy is moments away from death. An injection of sodium pentobarbital will be the last thing he ever feels. He was left at an Atlanta shelter by a person who was ''too busy'' to care for him.
